Karen Denise Moore, 61 of Bloomington, IL, passed away at 12:02 PM on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center, Normal IL.

A service celebrating her life will be 6:00 PM Friday (October 21, 2016) at Beck Memorial Home, Bloomington IL.Pastor John Rayford will be officiating. A private family visitation was held. The family suggests memorials be made to Home Sweet Home Ministries.

Karen was born February 9, 1955 in West Point Georgia the daughter of George and Flossie Sullivan Billingslea. She married Ronald Gregory “Ron” Moore on July 10, 1973 in Cleveland, Ohio. He survives. Also surviving,1 son Kellen (Noel) Moore, Jacksonville, FL 3 grandchildren, Jakoby, Molly and Finn Moore,1 brother, George (Gloria) Billingslea, Jr., Buffalo, New York and a host of aunts, uncles & cousins.

Karen is preceded in death by her parents, 1 son, Ronald Moore Jr., father in-law, Herman Moore.

Karen enjoyed cooking for her family and friends, reading, traveling and socializing with family and friends. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be missed by all who knew her.
